Ome’lika Kuumba has been a professional creative since 1990. She has experiences as an artistic director, choreographer, dancer, drummer, educator, and musical arranger. She’s directed Metropolitan Atlanta African Dancers & Drummers since 2017. She and this ensemble of talented dancers and drummers offer African dance and drum performances and workshops for community, corporate, individual and private events; private African dance and drum lessons; choreography and musical arrangements; cultural arts and educational enrichment; artist residencies; staff development and team building; percussion accompaniment for individuals and productions; motivational speaking; and artistic consulting.
